We were very excited to try this highly awarded restaurant. It was very impressive and delicious. Very deserving of its awards. The menu is vast and well done. The dumplings here are seriously good. Try them all. Prices are okay for the portions. Excellent friendly service with a fast kitchen. The staff can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Clean and comfortable facility. Clean washrooms as well. Like the older style design of the interior. The exterior signs and is window display is nice too. Frozen items can be purchased for home cooking. Debit or Cash preferred. No surcharges applied. No Free WiFi.

I had a fantastic dining experience here. This restaurant has the authentic atmosphere, the bustling organized chaos, which I find very reassuring. The staff could be seen refilling tea pots, bussing out dishes, restocking dishes, smiling and joking with the customers and each other. Everything that we ordered came out in quick succession, the pan fried pork and Bak choi dumplings were really good, we had the dough twist steam buns, garlic fried Chinese broccoli, lamb Shui mai, steamed beef and celery dumplings, crystal shrimp dumplings and the assorted sweet steamed buns. I can't express how much this meal conjured up memories with my relatives going out and eating. That's really what the food tasted like to me: the memories of family. If I find myself in Toronto again, I will try to find an excuse to eat here.

Saw all the Michelin posters and thought to give this place a shot. Their Bao is supreme and their fried rice made me see heaven. Safe to say I will be frequenting this establishment often. Their food is delicious and their service is so good. They serve tea with whatever you order and we got these cute fortune cookies at the end of our meal. 10/10 food And 10/10 dining experience

Lovely lil restaurant with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dumplings sides!! Absolutely cozy inside. Complimentary jasmine tea. Tons of booth seating. You can see them fold the dumplings live. I thought it was a cozy, family vibe. Super warm Dumplings themselves were good, not great, partially for me lacking some flavour on the fillings. Chive pancakes were good. There’s a ton of soya, siracha, chili oil, vinegar, etc on the table to make your sauce. My favourite were the pan fried pork dumplings, or the vegetarian steamed. Portions are pretty huge!! This spot will run you 15-20 pp. I regret not trying the BBQ pork bun!

A casual Chinese restaurant focused on dumplings. Choose items from the menu, check the items in the order form, and hand it to the server. Quick service. Food is delicious. Very popular and may need to wait to be seated. A Michelin restaurant. Cash or debit card payment only.

This place was recommended by some friends and I’m glad we checked them out! We arrived when they opened, we were a party of 9 and were seated quickly. We were served hot tea upon arrival and it was a great way to start our meal! We had a variety of food from dumplings steamed and fried , juicy pork buns, kimchi fried rice, springs rolls, beef and broccoli for entrees and seaweed salad, kimchi and the smashed cucumbers were great sides! Fast and friendly service! 10/10 check this place out if your visiting Toronto !
